Pretty exciting day yesterday - I launched a new service for recruiters to provide an indicator of recruitment effectiveness at the point of hire - something that hasn't been available before.
The aim is quite simple, ask a small number of critical questions of the candidate and hiring manager to a) get a score of confidence in the hiring decision; and b) make the recruiter and hiring manager think about what they're really trying to achieve in the hiring process.
Underpinning this approach is much of the research that informed 'The Strengths Springboard - is your organization ready?'. Indeed, one of the questions is "There is no better place for me to do my best work" - now where have I heard that before? :o)
Recruiters are signing up at the moment and I'm hopeful that we'll begin to influence hiring practices very soon!
